FSLabs Previews A320 & A319-X Update Video

Flight Sim Labs has just dropped a brand new video showcasing upcoming features to be included in an update for their Airbus A320/A319-X add-on aircraft for Prepar3D v4. If you didn’t see our previous article on the A320-X update, you can read it here.

For the A320, snow and ice effects (synonymous with the A319) are featured along with detailed de-icing options within the MCDU. Fluid types and concentration levels are available for the pilot to choose.

Attractive windshield snow effects are also present for extra immersion. Other appealing features include datalink procedures direct from the MCDU. AOC depart requests, ATIS and detailed load sheets are accurately represented along with wind data uplink.

Real-time POSREPS and general communication via the MCDU with other online pilots is another feature that we envisage will create a lot of fun. All of these features are confirmed to have functionality with VATSIM and IVAO and will allow pilots to follow real-world PDC/DCL procedures.

If you don’t already own the FSLabs Airbus A320-X and A319-X you can purchase them here.

We’ll endeavour to let you know once this update has been released.

Features

  • Load Sheets
  • Takeoff performance requests
  • Oceanic Requests
  • Datalink Clearance
  • ATIS-D
  • And more…

Please keep in mind this feature list is from October 2018 and is subject to change.

I'm an active flight simulation enthusiast with over 20 years experience and still enjoy it as much as ever. As a Lincolnshire lad, I was born at RAF Nocton Hall and spent my childhood at RAF Scampton dreaming of being a pilot. So I like to think that aviation is well and truly in my blood. I also enjoy iRacing and I am a very proud former iRacing Indy 500 winner! (I tell everybody this). My other hobbies include magic and playing the guitar pretty badly.
