Cloudberry Sim Announces Oakland International Airport

A first time scenery developer is coming out with a well needed scenery.

The lone and first time developer posted on the FSDeveloper forum stating that he is nearing completion of his first ever scenery. Embeee (his forum name) or Cloudberry Sim, which is what he seems to call his project, says that the buildings, ground polys and ADE layout are complete. The only thing few things remaining is adding miscellaneous details such as trees, cargo containers, parked cars and some other little details that will make it more immersive.

Oakland International airport (KOAK) is quite literally right across the bay from the San Francisco International Airport (KSFO). Oakland airport is a focus city for both Southwest Airlines and Allegiant Air as well has a hub for FedEx Express. Of course these are not the only operators that fly into Oakland regularly. It is quite a busy airport passing 13.5 million passengers in 2018.

Embeee has stated that will be for P3Dv4 and P3Dv3 and most likely will be developed for FSX. No release date, feature list or a price as been posted as of yet, but Embeee said he hopes to have it out “very soon“. If you wish to follow the development and give feedback, please check out his post on the FSDevelop Forum.
