Aerosoft Airbus Professional CFM56-5B7 Sound Demo

Whilst we have seen plenty of previews of the modelling work on the Aerosoft Airbus Professional series, this is the first time we’ve heard what it will sound like. As confirmed by Mathijs a few days ago, Turbine Sound Studios are back working with the developer on the engine sounds for the aircraft.

The preview above showcases the new sounds you’ll hear both internally and externally from the plane. Although this is a A318 in the images, this is the sound-scape from the A319 series. Confusing! These are completely brand new sounds – not reworks of older files from the team.

Mathijs said that the work from Turbine Sound Studios was an important element of the work that needed to be completed for the project to progress, and now that they’re nearing completion, it appears that the series of aircraft will be coming out soon. In fact, he even stated that they now have a release date in mind – but of course that information was kept undisclosed at this point in time. It’s worth noting that when the first set of aircraft are released (A318 / A319), then the time line of releases should then kick in. For those that need reminding, here it is:

  1. A318/A319 Professional
14 days after A318/A319 Professional release
  2. A320/A321 Professional
    5 weeks later
  3. A318/A319 Professional & A320/A321 Profession service Pack 1
This Service pack will replace the current PFD and ND with newer version that are better in resolution and designed to be used in 2d mode (the other gauges should already work in 2d mode at that time)
Unknown period later, but we guestimate something like 4 weeks.
  4. A330 Professional
    Unknown period latert
  5. 318/A319 Professional & A320/A321 Professional & A330 Professional service Pack 2
Note we skip the A330 SP1 to keep the names uniform. This service pack will bring all aircraft to the same status and will update the smaller busses with the knowledge gathered in the meantime.

Thanks to DagelijksGamer for the heads up.

Mathijs Kok must think he has some sort of reprieve re: the FSLabs drama but in reality his poor management of this addon is still apparent.

Awful project management. Remember last summer when it was right around the corner? Twice?

im not even excited anymore. just more of the same time filler previews. its not like TSS doesn’t release 10 soundpacks a day as is.

Aerosoft has become a total joke… poor management, poor decisions, poor communication etc etc. I personally don’t think we will even see the A318/19 until fall (maybe) and the only thing I’ve ben waiting for (A330) is delayed until ————-. All we ever see from them is previews of products that just seem to be delayed until these planes are obsolete.

And the A330 in 2030?

The A318/A319 is being released 14 days after the A318/A319?

but thats now what this carefully worded post says does it. jehan read it correct. the 318 comes 14 days after the 318. its an infinite loop of never release. smart, sorta.

You sure JonFezza

It looks like the A320/321 comes 5 weeks after the A318/319, not 14 days. So confusing.

No. A318/19 first. 14 days after the A318/19 the A320/21
