UK2000 Scenery have stuck their promise and released Aberdeen (EGPD) for FS9, FSX and Prepar3d.
Located at the tip of Scotland, Aberdeen is known for its short runways and scenic approaches over the mountains, all whilst multiple airlines fly to a varied range of destinations.
Gary has been working hard and it’s great to see that his usual techniques are in full action here. With continuous work going on, Gary has also added some release notes for further FREE updates:
1) Aberdeen is currently building a new area to its terminal, but is only half finished, this will appear in a future update
2) There have been some big hotels constructed on the old SW site, I would normally model these , but again these are so new that there’s no aerial image available and will appear as a FREE update when such an image is available.
3) I was recently told that Aberdeen has moved over the US stile of TDZ markings, this was do late to be included in the FS9 and FSX release version, but will be in the first update next week
4) Stand 4 has been closed for some time due to construction work, this has be modeled in the scenery as closed, but it looks like they have just removed the cabin and barriers, so Stand 4 will be made available again shortly.
You can buy it now from UK2000 Scenery’s website for £16.99. If you’re unsure, then you can also download a free demo.
