Sim Wings Canary Islands Professional El Hierro Released

Can2

Sim Wings have released their next line of professional scenery products. El Hierro Airport (GCHI) is now compatible with Prepar3d Version 4.

El Hierro Airport is the only airport on the island of El Hierro in Spain serving few airlines. However, in spite of its size and its limited timetable, it was the airport which had the greatest increase in number of passengers and merchandise in the Canary Islands in 2007. The air traffic is national, and the flights are normally from/to Tenerife North and Gran Canaria. In 2011, the airport carried 170,225 passengers, with 4,674 operations and 135 tons of merchandise.

Sim Wings El Hierro Professional is available on the Aerosoft store for 16.77 Euro. There is an upgrade service for those who own the previous version. The upgrade charge is only 7.98 Euros

And the list of Canary airports is getting bigger and bigger.

Not sure what the point of this is, according to Wikipedia, IRL only one airline fly to this airport and its scheduled destinations are just to the other islands not continental Europe. Also this airline only operates the ATR from this airport and there isn’t any decent rendition of ATRs on P3Dv4.

@bob

I made it clear what I meant so don’t exaggerate the meaning of what I said. End of story.

Oh yeah like an addon developer should release a material teleportation device for your PMDG 737 to instantly go from one point in the world to the other since this is a simulator and you can do whatever you want it it right?

I agree with both sides of this… and I also agree the Canary Islands have been covered, lets move on.

I agree with ohyeah.

Not everyone is a hardcore person who fly only real routes in proper aircraft and repaint or even following the correct schedule…

Good thing you’re in a simulator and can simulate whatever flight you want then.

the lack of vegetation is disturbing. even for the canary islands, this stinks of incomplete.

it’s a bit off a boring airport unless the dev made it that way to be…
