Following recent releases, including Macau & Chongqing, SamScene3D has released its faithfully recreated rendition of both, the airport and city of Fukuoka, Japan, for MSFS users to explore.

Formerly known as Itazuke Air Base, Fukuoka International Airport (RJFF) is an international airport located in the Hakata-Ku ward of the Japanese city of Fukuoka. The airport is considered the principal airport on the island of Kyushu. In addition to being the 4th busiest airport in Japan, it is also considered being the 4th busiest single-runway airport in the world.

Opened initially as Mushiroda Airfield by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in 1944, the airfield was eventually repurposed as a U.S. Air Force facility after WWII. In addition to seeing extensive use during both, the Vietnam & Korean wars, the airport also began seeing commercial services starting in 1951 with the introduction of Japan Airlines services to Tokyo. Today, the airport sees a wide variety of national and international carriers operating from its grounds, including Hawaiian Airlines, Starflyer & United Airlines, to name but a few.

Well-regarded cityscape developer SamScene3D has released its rendition of this critical Japanese airport for MSFS. According to the developer, the scenery features an accurate and detail-rich rendition of Fukuoka International Airport (RJFF). In addition, it comes included with realistic airport surroundings, custom-created 3D city buildings, & beautiful night effects, among others.

The developer also indicates that, to experience the highest level of immersion, users are recommended to download the developer’s associated Fukuoka 3D map, available via the download link featured on the developer’s product page.

SamScene3D’s Fukuoka recreation is now available for purchase via the SamScene3D official online store and will cost you $18.99 Inc. VAT.
