QualityWings Simulation Has Released Hotfix 2 for their Ultimate 787

787 19

Since QualityWings Simulation released their Ultimate 787, they have been listening to user feedback to help improve their aircraft. The Dreamliner aircraft is certainly one that impressed me, but there were a few teething issues I wanted to see solved. This hotfix fixes a bunch of problems, including random CTDs, ILS issues and ensuring that text fits onto the displays correctly. There has also been some fixes to the QualityWings Dispatcher which fixes units and weights.

Additionally, flight controls using keyboard arrow keys have been added, as well as EICAS ‘COMM’ memo will now appear when a new COMM message is received.

As previously suggested, this is the last hotfix before QualityWings take a look at developing the first Service Pack as well as checking out the Ultimate 787 in Prepar3D.

FSX users can download the update here.

FSX: Steam Edition users can download here.

Downloading the updates will install over your current copy. Or you can download a new copy of the aircraft altogether, which will mean having to reinstall your liveries and immersion pack.

If you haven’t done so already, you can buy it from Flight One’s website for $69.95.

The full feature list is below.

Don’t forget, you can read our first impressions article here.

In my opinion, there will not be any 64bit version ever.

It has been quiet on any updates to the P3D build

this patch fixes nothing that I have an issue with nor optimizes anything so ill skip it. knowing QW it will screw with my install even if I use the updater.

still not FMC fuel that is worth a damn, still no fix for the lnav tracking at any speed over 220kn. and the vnav still descends way too early putting you way ahead of waypoint restrictions.

so I guess im lucky, cause I only had 1 crash and that was trying to input fmc data while the apu was cranking. seems the plane doesn’t like that. but that’s not on the fix list either.

FSX is from 2006 so please give us the P3D V4 for crying out loud.:)

A gazilion of development and testing years to produce a bunch of bugs….haha

Flight one still has the 1.01 version
