Orbx Now Distributing Milviz Products via OrbxDirect

Announced during Flight Sim Show 2019 in Cosford last year, Orbx has today made available Milviz products to be purchased and installed via OrbxDirect. The aircraft, previously released via other vendors and publishers, is now available to install via Orbx’s easy-to-use Central system. You can now manage your Milviz aircraft add-ons via the installer as well as have updates automatically added via the system.

In total, 8 aircraft are initially made available to download and purchase via OrbxDirect. Those aircraft include the Milviz 407 and 530F helicopters, along with their PC-6 Turbo-Porto and their F-86F Fighter Jets. More aircraft are due to release in the future. None of the aircraft has any new features or functionality but simply are made available via the platform. Milviz will still be responsible for the development of their aircraft and providing updates.

It is worth noting that you cannot transfer a license from another vendor/publisher to Orbx’s system at this time.

Furthermore, a new feature was quietly added in on OrbxDirect recently. Users now have the ability to send products as gifts to their friends. In similar fashion to Steam, you can now buy products for friends by simply entering their email address during part of the check-out purchase.

You can read more about the new partnership with Milviz and Orbx via the forum post.
