Nimbus Simulation Show W.I.P. Video of Upcoming Huey UH-1H

Here’s one for the Heli fans.

A few months ago, Nimbus Simulation announced that they had a Huey in the works for X-Plane. Helicopter simmers proceeded to lose their minds.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Huey, it could be described as the 747 of choppers. It has a cult following from many for the role it played during the Vietnam war. Bell designed this heli as a utility aircraft, specifically for military use, back in the 50s. Over 7000 of these machines went on to be used in the war, and more than 16,000 of all Huey varients have been built since.

Check out the video provided by Nimbus above. They do stress that this is an early work in progress, but you’ll no doubt agree that this is looking very promising.
I’m not much of a heli guy, but following this, I’ll be adding it to my list of ones to watch. We’ll be sure to bring you any further updates, too.
