MK-Studios has released the final batch of screenshots for their upcoming Lisbon scenery. Designed to be completely frame rate friendly, the latest airport from the team will bring a wealth of new features and unique content to the airport and surrounding city.
The airport itself will be one of the most detailed created by the developers to date, with terminal interior modelling, SODE jetways, SODE windsocks, 3D people inside the terminal building and a little cameo for an up and coming new website! Furthermore, as previously shown off, the scenery will feature realistic precipitation effects on the ground, which will dynamically change based on weather, ‘condition-based’ runway lighting system and interactive holding point lights. All of these options can be adjusted to your liking in the airport configuration tool.
In addition to the airport being modelled, the scenery package includes a detailed look at the city of Lisbon, complete with custom landmarks, 3D city night lighting and 50cm/pixel coverage of the city with autogen. Of course, no Lisbon scenery would be complete without models of Ponte 25 de Abril and the Vasco da Gama bridges.
You’ll be able to experience Lisbon Airport (LPPT) by MK-Studios on September 14th when it releases. No price was given.
X-Plane 11 users will also be pleased to hear that the scenery is being converted for the Laminar Research platform in the next few months.
Finally, a screenshot included in the pack indicates the next airport MK-Studios will be developing. Leave your guesses in the comment section. Once we get approval from the developer, we’ll confirm which one it is!
