Aircraft developer, IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations, has announced their latest project, the T-45C Goshawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is being developed in partnership with Military Visualizations.

The T-45C Goshawk is a carrier-capable American military training aircraft. It was originally developed by McDonnell Douglas in the late 1980’s as a highly modified version of the the BAE System’s Hawk, and was further developed by Boeing after their acquisition of McDonnell Douglas into the more advanced T-45C.

The announcement came via a post to IndiaFoxtEcho’s Facebook page, which includes some details about the project, as well as some preview images of the aircraft.

While development of the T-45C Goshawk is described as “promising,”  the post does detail some of its challenges, which are mostly due to the limitations of aircraft development in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the lack of support for features like carrier operations.

The T-45C will reportedly feature the original monochrome displays in place of the modern versions as a developer preference, and is expected to be completed within the next few months. While the project is currently being developed strictly for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the post does mention it is possible it could be coming to other platforms.
