Foxtrot Oscar Simulation Designs has put out an update on their Facebook page detailing the status of their in-development Hawker Hunter.
They shared that they are currently in the process of rebuilding the entire systems code from the ground up, due to having access to better and more accurate flight manuals. Additionally, they are now working on an EFM for the plane using more data and flight manuals. Additionally, work is being done on the external 3D model to include PBR compatibility, as well as boosting the texture resolution from 2K to 4K. This should make the model look more modern when the plane is released, and keep it competitive with new DCS releases.
Additionally, they briefly covered their progress on sounds for the module and the issues they encountered with Blue Note, preventing them from including it in the module. Foxtrot Oscar Simulation Designs have also promised more updates in the future with more screenshots while hinting at a possible video demo of the plane sometime soon.
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see. No word yet on a release date for the project.
