FlyTampa Releases Heraklion For X-Plane

Scenery developer FlyTampa has released Heraklion International Airport (LGIR) for X-Plane 11.

Based on the island of Crete in Greece, the airport is located just outside the city of Heraklion and is the primary airport on the island, and the second-busiest in Greece (next to Athens International). Serving a variety of airlines, the airport sees mostly seasonal flights, serving over 8 million passengers in 2018.

The latest scenery from FlyTampa features complete city add-on, with custom mesh, vegetation and lighting. The scenery uses PBR materials and features sloped terrain, and includes animated airport apron vehicles and vehicle traffic.

The scenery can be purchased from the FlyTampa website for $22.00 USD.
