If you fly with a virtual reality headset, then we’re sure you’ve heard of FlyInside. If you haven’t, they’re a team of talented developers who enable your simulator to be used in VR. FSX and P3D V3 users have been able to use the technology developed by FlyInside to be fully immersed in their sim.

Today, the team have released the technology to be fully compatible with the latest version of Prepar3D: V4.1. It offers smooth performance, great frames and allows you to completely interact with the cockpit in VR.

It currently costs $27.00 USD to purchase, but you can try it for free to see if it suits your needs. Furthermore, if you already own any of their other products, then you can get a nice 25% discount on your version of FlyInside P3D4 Pro.

I have been an avid fan of Flight Sim since the release of ‘2000 and have been developing my love for aviation ever since. Currently working for a UK airline, I have the knowledge and experience to really deliver an excellent aviation community. Although no real life flying experience, I have a good understanding and always learning more and more. | View My Specs

  1. Using this with a rift and finding this much better than the baked in VR in 4.1. Buttery smooth and easier to control switches, buttons etc in comparison. Far more options. Well worth the money. Flying around LOWI in a A2A Comanche in silky smooth VR is something else, incredible!
