It feels like just yesterday that the FSElite team were at FlightSimCon 2017 in Hartford. However, the nights have now drawn in and winter is upon us, meaning those sunny memories of June are now well behind us. However, today a new trailer and official confirmation of dates and location for FlightSimCon 2018 have been revealed meaning summer feels a little closer than before.

Confirmed in the trailer, FlightSimCon 2018 will take place in the Hyatt Regency hotel, Dallas Texas. As for dates, make sure you mark off Saturday June 23rd/Sunday 24th 2018.

Whilst no official sponsors, partners or exhibitors have been confirmed, it’s safe to say that it’s gearing up to be a big event. With Dallas being a huge hub for many airlines, it’ll be easy to get to for many people across the world.

It should be noted that FlightSimCon 2018 won’t be the only US flight sim show this year, as the recently announced FlightSimExpo is also due to take place around a similar time of year – although details on that are a little more sparse.

Regardless, 2018 is shaping up to be a great year for event-goers. Why not read our review on FlightSimCon 2017.

I have been an avid fan of Flight Sim since the release of '2000 and have been developing my love for aviation ever since. Currently working for a UK airline, I have the knowledge and experience to really deliver an excellent aviation community. Although no real life flying experience, I have a good understanding and always learning more and more. | View My Specs

I might go. Depends on airshow season. Got some serious questions about third party product development for P3D.
