Developer Dovetail Games has introduced a new beta branch for Flight Sim World that will test out the initial steps towards a career mode.

In a post on their page, the developer said that career mode isn’t a full-fledged feature as of yet, but the foundation is being laid for future work, along with getting IFR functionality and the first jet into the sim.

This beta branch is freely available to everyone who owns Flight Sim World and interested testers can opt-in to the beta by right-clicking Flight Sim World in their Steam library and selecting ‘Properties’. From there, select the ‘Betas’ and enter the beta access code: DFSWpArTester18 and press ‘check code’. Once your sim is finished updating, you will be able to check out Career Mode. The update size is approximately 243MB. Note that career mode is accessible only in this beta branch, and you can swap back to the main game to enjoy missions, free flight, and multiplayer.
