Five months after the release of Raleigh Durham International Airport for MSFS, FeelThere has now released the airport for X-Plane.
Raleigh Durham International Airport (KRDU) is located in North Carolina between the three research universities of North Carolina State, Duke University and the University of North Carolina, giving the area the nickname ‘the research triangle’. The airport sees flights from Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta and Cancun by airlines such as American Airlines, Delta and Sun Country Airlines. The airport consists of three runways and two terminal buildings as well as General and cargo aviation ramps.
FeelThere has recreated this airport with high detailed models as well as using high-resolution satellite imagery that blends with the surrounding area. The airport is brought to life using 3D vegetation, detailed textures and custom buildings with custom reflections and night lighting. The airport also utilises the free SAM gateway plugin to use the moving terminal jetbridges.
To purchase Raleigh Durham International Airport for X-Plane, head over to the FeelThere website where you can purchase it for $14.99 Ex.VAT which is around £10.98/€12.78.
