Aircraft developer Black Box Simulation has released V1.6 of its Cessna L-19 “Bird Dog” for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The Bird Dog was developed in 1949 by Cessna as its new Model 305, which added a tandem seat configuration to a design that was based on the its 170. The United States Government took notice and saw great utility in the aircraft, and promptly ordered 418 of them. Ultimately, over 3,000 of the aircraft were built and shipped for civilian and military use all over the world.
