190880 Svalbard11

Just a moment ago Aerosoft released one more scenery for the X-Plane 11 platform. Yesterday it was Vaeroy and today it’s Svalbard/Longyear scenery. It’s available to buy from Simmarket’s website for 37.77 EUR without VAT. Svalbard is so far up north that you have to fly north of the Arctic Circle to get there, island itself range from 74° to 81° northern latitude. Important to note is that this area isn’t covered by the X-Plane 11 default scenery.

Scenery doesn’t just come with Svalbard/Longyear but a whole other airports as well such as Svea (ENSA), Ny Alesund (ENAS), Barentsburg (ENBA) and Pyramiden (ENPY). Whole island that consists of about 61000 km² in high detail with custom local terrain around airports. Even glaciers with detailed coast lines and shapes are included for you to look at as well as a winter season. Airport itself comes with highly detailed buildings and various objects.

To fly to Svalbard you probably want to have the correct aircraft livery which  this scenery package has included for various X-Plane aircrafts.

For more go to Simmarket’s website where you can both buy this scenery and find out more information.

  1. Not just a simple conversion of a single runway: Included in the package are 5 Airports and Heliports and 61.000 square kilometers of landscape, so far missing in the default scenery of X-Plane; Just to name a few of the key features 😉
