Active Sky Prepar3D v5 Compatibility Planned “Within Days”

Whilst we have been tracking Prepar3D v5 compatibility now for the past 2 weeks, on a particular product that has been hotly anticipated is HiFi Sim Tech’s Active Sky. The popular weather engine has been awaiting a compatibility update from the developers since release, but there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.

On their official Facebook page, the team were answering customer questions and confirmed that they are in a private testing process right now the current update which will bring Prepar3D v5 compatibility to the weather engine. Whilst they work on the private beta, they plan to offer an open beta “within days” providing that they can fix some of the major issues quickly. Providing they can fix those major issues and no further big issues arise, then people will be able to get their hands on the open beta for their simulator.

No further information has been shared at this point.  You can see the original post on Facebook.
