Freeware developer Zero Dollar Payware has announced that they will be bringing Seoul-Incheon International Airport (RKSI) to X-Plane 11.
Speaking on the X-Plane.org forums, the team said that “Incheon is one of the biggest and busiest airports in asia, yet it is one of the worst represented in both freeware and payware.” As such, the team wanted to bring the airport to the community for free, with the support of various other developers supporting Zero Dollar Payware.
As with previous airport developments from the team, Seoul-Incheon International Airport will feature high-quality features such as detailed ground markings, fully custom buildings, accurate night lighting and various pieces of airport equipment scattered around. It will also feature colour corrected ortho imagery, custom mesh and also use SAM jetways at parking stands; all the qualities you would expect from a payware airport.
The team has been working on the scenery for the past few months, but have still plenty of work to do before they can release the product. Whilst they would like to bring the airport to Microsoft Flight Simulator, the team are seeking those with SDK experience to work with them to make this happen.
You can continue to follow progress on the product via the X-Plane.org forums.
