KeflavÃk International Airport by Xometry Design has been released for X-Plane 11. The newly released airport is a replica of the busy Icelandic airport. Keflavik Airport (BIKF) serves as the largest airport on the island and serves as Icelandair’s primary hub. Due to its geographical location in the world, the airport sees narrow-body aircraft easily reach both the United States and also Europe, which can make for some exciting flights.
The airport product has been designed with high accuracy to represent the airport as it is in real life. The team has developed Keflavik based on the 2022 airport layout and it comes with high-resolution PBR texturing, 4K PBR ground textures and colour-corrected ortho imagery throughout. There is also the use of SAM jetways, a 3D interior model of the main terminal and finally custom night lighting.
