Laminar Research has released 12.4.0 Beta 3 for X-Plane 12, bringing a wide range of fixes and refinements across aircraft, avionics, graphics, and core simulator systems.
On the aircraft side, issues affecting landing gear indicator lights on fixed tailwheel aircraft have been resolved, alongside a fix for incorrectly displayed flight plan routes on EFIS maps. The Airbus A330-300 also receives several targeted improvements, including corrections to the Managed Dot logic at cruise altitude, refinements to the MCDU PERF APPR page, fixes to the ND drawing, enhanced autopilot turn rates, and general usability enhancements, such as enabling the transponder CLR button.
Beyond aircraft changes, the update also addresses visual and environmental issues with corrected sky rendering, improved ND visuals, and updated global airports to resolve mesh problems, including Lukla Airport (VNLK). ATC reliability has been improved with the restoration of missing ATIS at some airports, while avionics have benefited from fixes to high wind speed displays on the X1000.
Stability and usability remain a key focus, with multiple crashes resolved across UI, multi-monitor, and 2D panel setups, alongside smoother ground vehicle docking and improved camera data handling. VR users will notice fixes to the radial menu and several rendering issues, while SDK improvements enhance plugin stability, error handling, and overall robustness.

Laminar Research X-Plane 12.4.0 Beta 3 is available to download now for users who have opted into the public beta.
