X-Crafts has shared the first cockpit previews of its upcoming ERJ Family 2.0 for X-Plane 12, giving simmers a clearer idea of what to expect from the major overhaul.
The team says the flight deck has been completely reworked, with high-resolution textures and improved modelling designed to bring the ERJs up to the same standard as their recently released E-Jets Family and Lineage 1000. Despite the added detail, X-Crafts has confirmed that performance remains virtually unchanged thanks to lessons learned during those projects.

Avionics have also received a significant update, with new PFDs and MFDs, high-res moving maps, and an authentic FMS integrated directly into the cockpit for the first time. Both units will support pop-outs and multi-monitor setups, while a new EFB tailored for the ERJs will streamline aircraft operation.
The ERJ Family 2.0 is currently in beta testing with real pilots and the development team, with a release expected later in 2025.
