The hardware maker we previously knew as WINWING has been rebranded to WINCTRL. The rebrand will take effect in the new year
According to the team, this rebrand is more than just a name change. With the new name, it symbolises “precise control” and reflects their pursuit of building great products in parallel to providing great customer support.
The news comes following some alleged copyright disputes with the trademark in the US. This rebrand appears to be a move to get away from that dispute and allow the company to continue trading as normal.
There’s no new information about their products at this stage, but we felt it was important to share the news so when WINCTRL does begin sharing product details, there’s already context behind the name.
