WINGFLEX has released its new GMP Gear Management Panel, adding another Airbus-inspired piece of hardware to its growing range of flight simulation peripherals.
The GMP combines landing gear and brake pressure modules into a single setup, although both can also be positioned separately. The aluminium-alloy landing gear lever uses a Hall-effect sensor and is joined by gear status indicators, autobrake controls and a circular hydraulic pressure display.
There is also an integrated aviation clock with UTC, CHR and elapsed time functionality, along with an ambient light sensor that can automatically adjust display brightness.
Compatibility covers a sizeable collection of Airbus aircraft across Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, including aircraft from Fenix, FlyByWire, FSLabs, iniBuilds, Headwind, ToLiss and Laminar Research.
Alongside the hardware release, WINGFLEX has updated its Wings-Bridge software to version 3.1.0.2, adding GMP compatibility and improved aircraft detection. The update also adds PMDG 777L support, game path configuration and fixes for FlyByWire MCDU buttons and an iniBuilds APU shutdown issue.
