Hardware manufacturer WINGFLEX has announced at FSExpo this weekend that they are launching the Combo Cube addon, which forms part of their modular Airbus MCDU panel.
The combo cube combines the functions of the Airbus’ radio panel, transponder panel, TCAS panel and ATC MSG/AUTOLAND indicators into a single comprehensive unit which integrates with the company’s existing MCDU and EFIS panels to form an 80% Airbus glare shield panel.
WINGFLEX say they have taken time to get exact matches for the font elements present on the real unit, as well as the exact colour on all of the LCD screens.
Backlight is also integrated with the main MCDU unit (if you already own this), so a single control can be used to get consistent lighting across all WINGFLEX Airbus CUBE products. Each model can be used independently, meaning that you don’t need to own the main MCDU or EFIS panels to use the COMBO CUBE.

WINGFLEX is also offering a pre-sale discount this weekend for the RMP COMBO CUBE, as well as a bundle deal on all 3 units. Simmers can pick up the RMP COMBO CUBE today for $159 USD, and all three units bundled in come to a total of $549 USD. Shipping is expected to start around July 15.
Later this year, the company also says it is set to release a new OVERHEAD CUBE. We’ll be monitoring the WINGFLEX socials to let you know when it is available and how you can get your hands on one. Users can also join WINGFLEX’s discord server for further updates.
