Developer Whiskey Jet Simulations has shared a brand new preview video of the synoptic pages on their in-development A220. The video shared on Facebook shows that the team are continuing to progress on the aircraft.
During the 3 minute video, we see how the checklists interact with the actions you take in the cockpit, a brief engine start and also how you can control the synoptic pages. The aircraft is very much still in-development with many features yet to be implemented and completed – including some texture and modelling work.
On the post, the developer said “Just to assure everyone that systems coding is coming along nicely. We have completed all the synoptic pages and most of the ECL pages”. The team has said that there “is light at the end of the tunnel” and that the support from the community has been excellent in providing feedback and data.
In regards to the FMS, as previously mentioned, it’s likely to not be included in the initial release as a fully functional tool. However, it will work and have some basic functionality until it’s updated.
Previously, the team shared some video footage of the aircraft’s night lighting. You can also check out more cockpit details here.
As confirmed, the A220 from Whiskey Jet Simulations will release on FSX first. Once the team are happy with how the product is received, they may port it over to P3D and X-Plane in the future.
