As this beautiful bird gets closer and closer, we are starting to see everything come together. With Whiskey Jet Simulations’ latest post, it shows a three-minute video showing off the virtual cockpit of the Airbus A220 (Bombardier C Series). The short video depicts the entire VC and shows up several features that will be included with the final product. Not only that but how certain switches/knobs will change some in the aircraft. Specifically, you can see the temperature change within the cabin when adjusted. It appears that most if not all switches, knobs, and buttons will be clickable and will affect the aircraft in some way. Whether it’s starting the engines, or simply turning on the overhead panel lighting. Since the A220 is such a modern aircraft, a lot of the screens are controlled using a curser much like the 787. You can see in realtime what is going on with the aircraft, but just clicking a hydraulic switch and seeing the pressure build within the system or see which door is open. Small details such as the pullout table and the window shades are included and demonstrated in this short 3 minutes video. The flight deck itself is highly detailed and has small items added like headsets hanging and a jumpseat.
