Prepar3D scenery developer WF Scenery Studio has shared a range of new previews for their upcoming rendition of Shanghai Pudong Airport (ZSPD) for the simulator. In the Facebook post, the team said that “development progress is nearing completion,” but did say that there is still work to be done before the product can be released. WF Scenery Studio is known for its ever-growing catalogue of Asian Continent scenery for FSX and P3D, such as Beijing Capital International, Kunming Changshui International, and Nanjing Lukou International.
The new previews show off various parts of the main terminal building, along with parts of the landside sections including various office buildings and the local airport hotel.
Shanghai Pudong is a major East Asian international transportation hub, located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China. It has undergone a massive amount of expansion in a relatively short amount of time, and currently handles almost 4,000,000 metric tons of cargo, along with over 74,000,000 passengers annually. It also hosts some of the world’s largest carriers like Air China, and China Eastern Airlines.
