Developer WF Scenery Studio has previewed its upcoming release, Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) for P3D.
Shanghai Pudong is a major East Asian international transportation hub, located in the Pudong disctrict of Shanghai, China. It has undergone a massive amount of expansion in a relatively short amount of time, and currently handles almost 4,000,000 metric tons of cargo, along with over 74,000,000 passengers annually. It also hosts some of the world’s largest carriers like Air China, and China Eastern Airlines.
The scenery was announced via a post to the WFSS Facebook page, which included some brand new preview images to hold us over until while we wait for the official release.
WF Scenery Studio is know for its ever growing catalog of Asian Continent scenery for FSX and P3D, such as Beijing Capital International, Kunming Changshui International, and Nanjing Lukou International.
WFSS’s Shanghai Pudong International will be the 2nd rendition of the airport, as Imaginesim currently supports a FSX/p3D v4 version. While WFSS has not officially announced which versions of P3D will get the new scenery, the preview images are shown running on v5, while users in the comment section seemed to confirm v4 will be supported as well.
This is WF Scenery Studio’s latest project since its last scenery, Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) for P3D v4/5 released this past August. You can check that out via simMarket here, while we await the release of Shaghai Pudong.
