At long last, Region 3 for the popular ‘We Love VFR‘ mod for MSFS is now available. We Love VFR – Region 3 gives a VFR overhaul with landmarks to Asia, the Middle East, Australia and part of Oceania.
Developer PuffinFlight has added around 150.000 objects to Region 3, featuring (custom) buildings and landmarks such as communication towers and antennae, chimneys, flare stacks, radar domes, construction cranes and more. These custom objects have been provided with visual effects, such as smoking chimneys and fire coming from the flare stacks. These visual effects are even affected by wind and temperature. All of this has been developed with performance in mind, and the mod should remain performance friendly even on systems with lower specs. However, the developer also offers a version without effects if you prefer this, or if you find the effects affect your performance too much.
We Love VFR – Region 3 is available for free from flightsim.to. PuffinFlight already indicated that ‘more is planned’ for the future, but for now, has not given any details on what this might encompass.
