A brand new trailer for the A330 in X-Plane 12 has just been posted by AviationLads. The 2 and a half minute trailer shows us the plane with never-before-seen footage that highlights many of the details coming with the default aircraft.

The video starts with plenty of views from the outside of the plane, which highlights the model itself, the PBR texturing and numerous effects that will come with the plane. Later on, we see some of the systems in action, such as the engine start on the ECAM panel. There is also plenty of footage inside the plane too, including the 3D modelled cabin and a highly detailed flight deck.

Not only that, but we also see an engine failure due to a fire, complete with fire and smoke effects. We also get to see a number of liveries that are going to come with the default aircraft including Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa and Air Asia.

You can watch the trailer right now above or directly on YouTube.

As X-Plane 12 edges closer to a release, we’re excited to see even more trailers and footage from the next generation simulator from Laminar Research.

Why not check out our interview with the X-Plane 12 team after it was announced at FlightSimExpo last year.
