In case you missed it, Microsoft shared a trailer for the upcoming World Update 6 which is due to release very soon for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The new world update will bring with it numerous new photogrammetry cities such as Frankfurt, Basel, and Vienna along with plenty of new points of interest. Points of interest include Heligoland (Germany), Melk Abbey (Austria) and Chillon Castle (Switzerland). In addition to the updated cities, the resolution for the mesh in the area has been increased to up to 7cm, meaning the Alps will look sharper than ever.

World Update 6 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available to download for free come September 7th 2021.
