Washington Dulles International Airport (KIAD) Announced for X-Plane 11

A private developer (who’s unnamed at this time), has announced the Washington Dulles International Airport (KIAD) for X-Plane 11. The developer states that no release date or price has been chosen yet. From the looks of it, the project will contain high detail but will be FPS-friendly as well.

Named after John Foster Dulles, Dulles International Airport was opened in 1962. It is one of three major airports in the area’s capital with Baltimore-Washington and Reagan National Airport coinciding with it. More than 21 million passengers passed through the airport last year. It serves as a hub for United Airlines, but is also served by Aeroflot, Air Canada, Air France, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways and more.

You can follow the development on the projects page here.
