Veteran developer, vSkyLabs announced further details to their P2006T project update. They claim that the update will be a near-overhaul of the aircraft, and will be free to current owners of the aircraft.
The update will include internal-engineering refinements, system enhancements and VR-manipulator tuneups.
The Tecnam P2006T is an Italian high-winged, twin-engined all-metal light aircraft. It contains fully retractable landing gear and liquid-cooled Rotax engines that can infamously run on 92 octane unleaded automotive gasoline as well as 100LL.
Full Update Feature List:
- Electrical system overhaul that includes a fully separated electrical bus system with functional bus-tie operations. Alternator/generator operation loads will be tuned up aswell.
- Autopilot was redesigned and re-wired into the electrical system, the autopilot master is now functioning as normal.
- Cockpit rocker switches are now electrically powered and enabled through the proper switch on the right-hand front panel.
- Transponder/ADF brighter and clearer.
- Engines revamped – CHT and oil-temp behavior along with a new engine cooler algorithm. A new damage algorithm was added to the engines operation as well.
- Flight dynamics complete overhaul, with updated airfoils that tag along with X-Plane 11.30.
- New cold and dark preset.
- STMA auto-updater was added.
vSkyLabs claims that the P2006T analogue variant is expected to “happen” within the end of next week.
