In a Facebook post, VSKYLABS has announced the Test-Pilot: He-162 Project for X-Plane.
VSKYLABS had announced the ‘Test-pilot’ project series back in 2017, but unfortunately, the two projects involved are struggling to get through some X-Plane 11 development issues. The He-162 project is one of those projects in between the two original projects that has been developed on the side.
The Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger is a single-engine, jet-powered fighter aircraft used in back in World War II by the German Luftwaffe. VSKYLABS say it that it will be a highly-detailed aircraft with a fully-equipped and functional cockpit. It will be fully optimised for virtual reality with it’s systems as close to the real thing as possible. All of this on top of a highly realistic flight model delivering the authenticity and challenges of flying the He-162.
