VSKYLABS posted on their Facebook that the Robinson R66 project for X-Plane 11 is expected to be releasing this week if all goes according to plan.
Included in the update is a preview of one of the features that this product. That is a 3D hand that is able to hold the VSL for the R66. They say that this is “very handy” in 2D and in VR, and that there is a good chance this feature will be included in V1.0 of the product.
The R66 first flew in 2007, and has since had over 760 units built and delivered. It is the slightly larger, faster, and smoother version of the R44. The R66 is designed to be a light utility and trainer helicopter, but is also used by the Nigerian Air Force.
Once more is posted on this project, we will be sure to update. Also keep a look on VSKYLABS feeds.
