Volanta has rebuilt their plugin that connects simulators to the program itself. The rebuild has been done with performance improvements in mind. Furthermore, the rebuild is supposed to make maintainability of the plugin easier, hopefully leading to easier or quicker fixes and iterations in the future. The plugin also includes two new features: Reporting of cockpit indicated altitude and ARM compatibility for macOS users.
The Volanta team has now shared the first public beta of this plugin. The team is looking for feedback from users on the plugin, as well as the two new features it includes. You can opt-in to the beta plugin right from Volanta itself, by going to Settings > General > Plugin Release Track. Selecting the “Open Beta” will select the beta plugin, after which you need to restart Volanta for the plugin to take effect. Feedback on the beta plugin can be reported back to Volanta, although the developer did not provide a specific channel or way to direct this feedback.
