Through a single teaser image over on their Facebook, hardware manufacturer VIRPIL has teased a new type of control in their line-up. While the company is not yet revealing what exactly is underneath the cloth in the image, the distinctive shape appears to be that of a yoke.
VIRPIL’s line-up currently consists of several sticks (including bases), throttles, control panels and collectives, but it would be the first time the developer has developed a yoke. The caption on the image reads “VIRPIL Airlines preparing to depart…”, so this might just be a piece of hardware geared towards the more commercial and GA side of aviation, as opposed to the more military inspired/looking hardware the developer has created so far.
