On 16th January, 2026, VIRPIL Controls announced that its VPC Vector Yoke is now available for pre-order on its website. Alongside the announcement, the hardware manufacturer showed a new teaser trailer featuring the yoke in action.
VPC Vector marks VIRPIL’s first major foray in the world of civilian-focused prosumer hardware. The company built its reputation amongst the demanding mil-sim and space simulation crowds by offering high-end HOTAS flight sticks, helicopter collectives, and rudder pedals with an emphasis on modularity and user customizability.
The Vector Yoke follows that design language. Like the HOTAS offerings, the Vector Yoke is sold in modules allowing pilots to choose from 3 interchangeable yoke handles, swappable control boxes, and a variety of mounting options.
The Vector Flight Yoke base features individually adjustable pitch and roll axes, 160mm of pitch travel, a roll axis capable of handling either 90 or 180 degrees of travel, and contactless digital sensors.
Three different yoke handles are available for pre-order. The P-Jet handle is a 404mm wide (15.9 inch) yoke resembling a modern Embraer Business jet layout.
The B-Jet handle is styled after a modern passenger jet and resembles a Boeing layout. It clocks in at 355 mm (13.97) inches in width.
The Constellation VEGA handle is the most button-dense of the three. True to its name, the VEGA’s layout is designed for space and civilian sims. It features dual analogue triggers and 6 customizable RGB face buttons.
Two desk mounts are available for pre-order. The single mount allows pilots to mount the yoke on top of the desk, while the dual mount allows pilots to mount the yoke both above and below the desk. The dual mount also includes a tablet/keyboard holder accessory.
Three different modular control panels are available for pre-order. They bolt onto either the left or right side of the yoke base. These include the Lighting MCP, the Gear MCP, and the Engine MCP. These provide pilots with extra switches to control lighting, landing gear, and engine start functions respectively.
