VIRPIL Controls Announces R1 Falcon Rudder Pedals

VIRPIL upgrades original ACE Rudder Pedals with announcement of R1 Falcon Unit.

VIRPIL Controls Announces R1 Falcon Rudder Pedals

VIRPIL, known for their varied hardware of flight sticks, throttles, panels and pedals, has announced their latest product in their arsenal, as the R1 Falcon Rudder Pedals which were teased at FSEXPO 2024 in Las Vegas.

Following their ACE Rudder Pedals, VIRPIL has taken the previous product to the next level with retaining the all metal construction with adjustable cam mechanisms and additional dampers paired with new features such as a dual-bar design, new adjustable foot pedal, and an extra floor plate making the product more stable and less likely to move around on the ground under force.

The new R1 Falcon combines a symmetrical single cam axis mechanism that can be swapped very quickly dependant on the type of flying you might be doing, which combined with an infinitely adjustable centring spring, adjusted by the turn of a dial dependant on preference or type of aircraft/helicopter you are flying.

To further the adaptability, the foot pedals feature adjustable width, brake angle, and foot angle to ensure user comfortability. The unit will include the VIRPIL USB/OUT system which allows the user to link the pedals to other VIRPIL devices to free up important USB space on the master PC. Users will also be able to adjust where the pedals cabling system is located on the base which makes for a tidier setup.

If you are awaiting the delivery of the previous ACE Rudder Pedals, you can email the VIRPIL support team with your order confirmation and they will inform you of how to upgrade your current order to the R1 Falcon Pedals.

Starting the week of the 24th February 2025, you can purchase the new R1-Falcon Rudder Pedals straight from the VIRPIL website where you can order yours for €299.95 (£245.10/$309.70) and you will have the option to purchase the additional damper for €39.95.
