In a Facebook post, Vidan Design has announced that they’ve pushed an update their popular Aalborg X (EKYT) scenery to version 1.1.
This update brings along several bug fixes and additions such as dynamic lighting, animated windsocks and animated 3D people. You can view the complete changelog at the end of this article.
If you don’t already own Vidan Design’s Aalborg X, you can grab a hold of it at simMarket for a price of €19.96 (Excl. VAT). This scenery is compatible with FSX/SE and Prepar3D v4.

Installation
- Open “Aalborg X Scenery Configurator”
- Click on “Reset Scenery to default”
- Close “Aalborg X Scenery Configurator”
- Uninstall Aalborg X v. 1.0
- Install Aalborg X v. 1.1
