Scenery developer Verticalsim has released Tampa International (KTPA) v2.1 for X-Plane 11.
Version 2.1 comes just a month after the release of v2.0, which added the new United Airlines hangar, and updated the scenery to the most recent and accurate layout of the real airport.
The announcement came via a post to Verticalsim’s Facebook page, which announced the new update, and provided some new preview images for v2.1
According to the post, the main focus of the update was to outfit the terminals with new HD textures in preparation for the release of the previously unannounced Microsoft Flight Simulator version of Tampa International.
If you recall, textures were one of the slight criticisms of the scenery in our review of v2.0, and the preview images provided in the post do showcase some notable improvements to the texture work for the terminal buildings.

Returning customers get a free update to v2.1 from wherever the scenery was initially purchased.
New customers can purchase v2.1 of Tampa International Airport directly from Verticalsim’s website for the sale price of $14.49 (reg $16.00) here.
