Developer Verticalsim has released Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Located in Florida, just south of Tampa, the airport has some fantastic approaches over the water and nearby housing areas. Whilst the airport has plenty of commercial traffic from airlines such as United, Allegiant Air, Southwest and others, it is also a busy airport for local GA flying and business jets. As such, this airport is fairly accommodating to all types of pilots looking for some Floridian fun.
The team has modelled the airport based on its current layout and building structure. The airport has been crafted with modern texturing and HDR night lighting, whilst being optimised for the best performance. Also included is a highly detailed interior of the main terminal building. Throughout the airport product, expect to see a plethora of animated objects, custom jetways and ground clutter. Verticalsim says that the airport comes with proper airport data and logic so that your experience in the sim is seamless.
You can buy Verticalsim’s Sarasota Airport now for Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Contrail store for €15,25. Buying it with Contrail means you can install and configure the product through the Contrail app. You can read a little more about Contrail with our interview with the lead developer.
