Verticalsim has released their Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (KGSP) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery uses PBR materials, has the current 2020 layout, includes custom ground objects, detailed modeling, custom jetways, detailed terrain mesh and HDR night dynamic night lighting.
The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is the second busiest airport of South Carolina. It hosted 2.6 million passengers in 2019. The airport has a single 11,000ft runway and a single terminal. The airport is an important cargo hub, with FedEx having a major facility near the airport and BMW having a spare part dispatching facility nearby. Current airport improvement plans include a new terminal expansion and a second runway, all still in project. You can purchase the scenery on the Verticalsim store for $10.99. Owners of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport scenery which had been released on X-Plane 11 under the Departure Designs brand are entitled to a 10% discount on the new Greenville-Spartanburg Airport for MSFS by using the same account with which they purchased the X-Plane version.
