Verticalsim announced their newest airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport, on Facebook. Myrtle Beach International Airport is 6 miles southeast of the central business district of Myrtle Beach and is right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The airport has a single runway, a passenger terminal, and served over 2.4 million passengers in 2018. Both Allegiant and Spirit maintain a focus city in Myrtle Beach, other airlines such as American, Delta, United, and Sun Country also serve the airport.
Verticalsim has packed Myrtle Beach full of awesome features such as PBR rain effects, PBR ground textures and buildings, 3D ramp workers, and more. 4K orthography of Myrtle Beach Airport and the surrounding area will be included to fully immerse yourself in this esteemed tourist location. Ambient occlusion and photorealistic texturing is also included, the airport was designed with AI traffic in mind and is fully compatible with popular AI traffic programs to the likes of World Traffic 3 and Traffic Global. Verticalsim Myrtle Beach is compatible with VStates SC and currently only supports Autogate, compatibility with SAM will be announced in the future. There has been no solid release date given, however, Verticalsim states, “MYR will be out most likely towards the end of the month if all is to go right.” They also mentioned Myrtle Beach will cost between $16-$20.
