Verticalsim has announced that their next project, KMCO – Orlando International, is in progress for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. While they only showed off one screenshot of the tower in the announcement post, they previously teased the development of KMCO with a screenshot of the JetBlue hangar. They’ve also let fans know that they can anticipate a high level of detail in the terminal modeling, including the new Terminal C, detailed wear and tear, and accurate markings.

Orlando International (KMCO) needs little introduction as this busy Florida airport is the destination for heaps of travelers on their way to Disney World and, of course, the surrounding Orlando metropolitan area. Interesting tidbit for us aviation geeks: the airport’s identifier, MCO, stems from its former identity as McCoy Air Force Base, which closed in 1975 prior to being converted for civilian use.
As always, stay tuned to FSElite for your news and to learn more as we receive additional information about this upcoming release.
