On Facebook, developer Vertical-Simulations has announced that they are working on Norfolk International Airport for X-Plane 11. The regional airport in Virginia sees regular travel from airlines such as Southwest, Frontier and Delta Airlines with domestic routes.
The airport will feature animated objects throughout the scenery, custom HD imagery all of which will be colour-corrected and PBR materials on all buildings and ground textures. Furthermore, the port and city will be included as a free add-on to the product. Vertical-Simulations are working to ensure that the product is as friendly on the frame rate as possible when it eventually releases. To accompany the announcement, Vertical-Simulations shared a range of early previews.
No word on release dates yet, but we’ll continue to monitor the news from Vertical-Simulations.
