The Cross the Pond (CTP) Planning Team has decided to take a temporary break to determine the future of CTP after discussions with its partners. This means Cross the Pond Eastbound 2025 held via the VATSIM network is cancelled.
The team’s statement was as follows:
“With every event, Cross the Pond grows more and more. After some discussions with our partners, we’ve collectively decided to take a temporary break to determine the future of CTP, keeping everyone’s enjoyment of the event front and centre. We hope to be back next spring with a new edition of the event. We will take this opportunity to revise some aspects of how we create and manage the event, to lead to a better experience for all those involved – Division/vACC staff, pilots, and, very importantly, ATCOs.
We understand that this might cause some frustration, and believe us, this was not an easy decision. We hope to count on your support and understanding.”
The Cross the Pond Planning Team said that more news will follow in the 1st quarter of 2026, where they aim to host the next edition of Cross the Pond.
